Arai yawned as he was flopped out on the couch.

"Do you ever do anything besides lay there?" Kana hissed.

"Have you forgotten I'm an ANBU, bitch?" Arai hissed. "My last mission was hard, okay? We're after this assassin... with little to no information on the man."

"Arai, play nice..." Ryo breathed as he went to lay down with him on the couch.
Arai wrapped his arms around Ryo. "I'm cranky."

"When aren't you?" Kana rolled her eyes.

"I could make you feel better..." Ryo closed his eyes as he laid back in his arms.

"You already are." Arai smiled, kissing the back of Ryo's neck.

Ryo smiled as he was laying with Arai on the couch. He loved having Arai's arms around him. "Mm~" He breathed.

Just then the front door opened.

"Sayuri! There you are!" Kana grinned as she saw the woman.

Sayuri smiled at her sister as she hugged her. "Sorry...I, uh, stayed somewhere else last night." She breathed.

"I'm glad you're okay!" Kana grinned before she noticed Tsuta.

"Of course I'm okay." She breathed before following Kana's eyes. Sayuri smiled at her. "Oh, right...This is the guy I stayed with last night..." She smiled.

"Why is he here?" Kana blinked.

"Because I brought him with me." She said. "I can bring people home." She crossed her arms over her chest.

"Ah well... I guess..."

"Nice to meet you." Tsuta smiled.

Sayuri smiled and took his hand. "Come on..." She giggled as she pulled him into the kitchen. "The pastries are in here."

He chuckled as he was guided by Sayuri.

"Who the hell is this?" Arai asked as they ran passed

Sayuri blinked and stopped, looking at Arai. "This is my...friend." She breathed, nit feeling right to call him her boyfriend yet.

Tsuta smiled at the pair. "Nice to meet you."

Ryo kept his eyes closed but made a sound in his throat to acknowledge the man. It was strange...The voice sounded familiar...

"Sayuri, Kasai's have enough bad history. Don't bring strangers in this compound!" Arai hissed.

"Please, my name is Tsuta. I will cause this family no harm."

Arai's eyes narrowed. Tsuta was a popular name. And this man's eyes and hair were the wrong colour to be the man that tried to ruin his life...

Sayuri stuck her tongue out at Arai before clinging to Tsuta's arm. "You can't tell me what to do~"

"Watch me!"

"Arai, leave my sister..." Hisao's eyes widened. "You're the guy who was with Ryo..."

"Who?" Tsuta asked.

Ryo's eyes opened at that as he blinked at the man. "You said...your name was Tsuta?" He furrowed his brows. "You do look like a Tsuta that I knew..."

"I have never met you before." He stated.

"Huh..." Ryo breathed.

Sayuri leaned against Tsuta. "It must be a coincidence. I mean, there are a lot of people with blonde hair and blue eyes..." She pouted, puffing her cheeks out.

Arai growled. "Get the fuck out."

Tsuta's eyes widened.

Sayuri glared at Arai. She wasn't intimidated by him. "He's allowed to stay." She growled back.

Arai sat up. "Like hell he is! Get him out!"

"No."

Ryo frowned. "Arai..."

Arai stood up, ready to force the man out.

Sayuri's eyes turned black as she stepped in front of Tsuta. "Sit. Down." She growled.

"Being born first and the daughter of Rina means shit to me, Sayuri!" Arai shouted.

"Arai, calm down..." Ryo breathed as he stood up with him. He grabbed Arai's hand and frowned. "Please..."

Arai turned to glare at Ryo. "Let go of me."

Ryo shook his head. "Arai...you're getting hot-tempered for nothing. This isn't the same Tsuta..." He breathed, moving to stand in front of his husband. "Please...for me..."

Arai clenched his jaw as he turned his face away. "Fine."

Ryo smiled softly at him. "Thank you..." He breathed before looking to Sayuri. "Take him somewhere else...The living room is occupied."

Sayuri's eyes returned to normal as she took Tsuta's hand, leading him upstairs towards her room. If they were going to act like assholes, she wasn't going to associate with them...

Tsuta frowned. "I am sorry I upset your family. Should I leave?"

She shook her head. "No. Arai's just an asshole..." She breathed. "You're allowed to stay..."

"He does seem to have a short fuse." Tsuta agreed.

"He doesn't bother me...but some of the others feel intimidated." Sayuri looked at him. "So...don't let him bother you." She smiled.

He smiled. "Alright, I won't."

"Good..." She went to sit on her bed and smiled at him. "You know...not everyone in my family are assholes."

"Just him?" He laughed, looking around her room.

"Mhm," she nodded. "Though...if you catch my big brother or my younger brother on a bad day...they can be assholes...and Ryo...but honestly, they're good people most days." She smiled.

"I believe you." He smiled as he sat down beside her. "How many people live in your clan? Must be a lot... your compound is huge."

"Hm...how many people...You're right that it is a lot...and it's only getting harder and harder to fit around our table." She laughed.

He smiled. "Must be nice..."

"I guess..." Sayuri shrugged. "It can also be kinda crowded...Sometimes it's hard for people to get noticed around here..." She mumbled.

"Is that how you feel? Unnoticed?" He asked.

"Sometimes..." She sighed.

"That's a shame." He breathed.

Sayuri shrugged. "It can't be helped...we're a giant clan..."

"I would give you all the attention you wanted." He breathed, sitting down beside her.

Sayuri looked at him from under her lashes. She brushed her hair aside, pushing it behind her ear to look at him. Taking a deep breath, she looked back down at her hands as she sat on her bed. "Really...?"

"Of course." He breathed. "I feel like you could be the one I want to marry..."

She blushed. "That's...silly...We just met..." She looked away.

"Do you not feel the spark I do?" He breathed, leaning closer.

Her eyes glanced back at him as she blushed even more. Sayuri never would've believed she could have blushed brighter than Hoshiko. "The...spark...?" She breathed, feeling herself being drawn in towards him.

He smiled and nodded. "Yes... the spark..."

"M-Maybe...I feel something..." She mumbled as she could feel herself being drawn closer and closer. Her heart seemed to slow with each beat. It was as if time was stopping right before her.

Slowly his hand moved up into her hair, pushing it behind her ear before he closed the gap between their lips.

He tasted sweet. She could taste the syrup that still lingered on his lips from their pancakes earlier that morning. She could also taste something else but it wasn't something like food. It was a feeling. It was a spark. Sayuri pulled back, feeling her heart nearly jump out of her chest. Her eyes widened as she gasped, surprised. "W-Wow..."

He smiled at her. "Feel it now?"

Sayuri tackled him to the bed as she hovered over him. She smiled at him. "I like it..." She breathed before crushing her lips to his.

A soft moan escaped his throat as his arms snaked around her back.

Sayuri let her body melt into his as she kissed him. She moved her hands to his hair as she tangled her fingers. She wanted more of that spark. She wanted to taste him over and over again. Her heart continued to race as if it was going to burst at any moment.

Tsuta smirked against the kiss. Everything was falling into place.
