"Ruuto~" Renata giggled as she played with her baby boy. She was in Tomoe and Riku's room as she was spending the day with Riku and Tomoe, helping them with the babies. "Be careful with the girls~"

Tomoe chuckled as she held Loki in her arms. She watched as Nozomi wiggled on the bed and saw Riku holding Satomi on his hip. It seemed that the babies were having fun with one another.

"So Kakashi had to work?" Riku asked as he smiled at his new grandson.

Renata nodded. "Mhm...but he should be back by later tonight." She smiled.

"That's good." He smiled.

Tomoe smiled. "He's looking very big, Renata."

Renata nodded. "Ruuto has a very healthy diet~ And he eats anything." She chuckled.

“That's good. He's a sweetheart."

"So are the girls," Renata smiled at her father. "They seem very loving."

"I love this clan." Riku chuckled.

A knock came to the door.

Renata smiled. "Let me get it." She got up from sitting on the bed and went to answer the door. "Tatana?"

“I-I need to talk to Dad... it's urgent..."

"Dad?" Renata turned around and looked at their father. "Dad...it's Tatana..."

"Tatana?" He blinked.

Renata moved back to the bed and took Ruuto into her arms. She didn't like the look on her twin's face.

Tomoe smiled, looking up from Loki. "Tatana...hey. What are you doing here?"

"Um..." She felt guilty not telling Junn's mother.

Tomoe frowned. "Tatana...?"

“D-Dad... hallway?"

"Just say it, Tatana..."

"Um... Tomoe... d-don't panic... but Junn's heading to the hospital... right now..."

Tomoe furrowed her brows. "Junn's...heading to the hospital? Why? What's wrong?" She asked.

"Um... we don't know..."

Tomoe tried to get out of bed.

"Stay."

Tomoe frowned. "But...he's my son, Riku! I have to go!"

“He will be okay.”

"I don't know that...and neither do you." She frowned. "I...I have to go to him."

"Stay." He sighed and pushed her down. "Keep us updated." Riku said.

Tatana nodded and ran off.

Tomoe looked to Riku. "Riku, I HAVE to go. I'm his mother. I should be there!" She argued.

"You're in no condition, Tomoe."

"But Riku..." She frowned.

Renata nodded. "Aunt Tomoe...you can't move around so much. You're still hurting from having Loki."

"Just relax. We will be updated."

Tomoe frowned. "But...Junn..." She hugged Loki close to her.

Nozomi wiggled on her back and squeaked. "Ah~ Ah~" She clenched and unclenched her hands up in the air.

“Just relax... I'm sure he's fine..."

...

"T-T...Toshiro..." Junn groaned.

Toshiro frowned as he sat beside his brother's bed, holding his hand. "I'm right here, brother."

“Wh-What... is w-wrong with me?" He coughed up more blood.

Toshiro shook his head. "I don't know, Junn...but Zeeto should be back with your test results..." He said as he wiped his brother's mouth.

“I-I... Will I-I die?"

"No." He said. "You will live."

"I-I'm... s-scared..."

“I know..." Toshiro nodded, dabbing his brother's mouth again. "It'll be okay...We'll get you better."

He whimpered.

"Boys. It's rare I see little Junn here..." Zeeto said.

Toshiro looked up and took in a deep breath. "Zeeto, what the hell is wrong with my brother?"

"We're... not sure. He looks healthy and no damage is visible..."

Toshiro frowned. "That doesn't help him now...He's coughing up blood. He needs help now." He breathed, frustration starting to build.

“I'm sorry. But we're doing everything for him. Until then, I ask that we keep him here..."

Toshiro nodded. "Of course...If he's staying, then so am I." He breathed, sitting back down and taking his brother's hand again.

"It could be weeks before we diagnose this, Toshiro... don't you have a son?"

"Tatana will understand..." He breathed. "I have to be with my brother..."

He nodded. "Where is Kohaku?”

Toshiro shook his head. "Junn says he's not home right now..."

"Oh... well someone will need to tell him..."

Junn began crying the best he could.

Toshiro looked back at his brother and frowned. "Junn, shh, it'll be okay...Everything will be okay..." He breathed, brushing his brother's bangs.

“I-I'm so scared!”

"I know...but it'll be okay..." Toshiro breathed. "I promise..."

Zeeto sighed. "We're going to ask for all our most famous doctors help..."

"What about the gods? Can't we ask them?" Toshiro asked. "Kusuri or Hiiraa...they would be able to help..." He breathed.

"We need to be able to summon them..."

“Then let me summon them.” Toshiro breathed. “I’ll do anything for Junn.”

“You can try, but do not hold hope. The god’s come around less since your father left.”

“I was once a god, Zeeto. I’ve made my own friends and connections.” Toshiro breathed. “I’ll get them to help.”

He nodded. “Be fast… I don’t know what time limit your twin has…”

Toshiro nodded and closed his eyes. He took in a deep breath and began to pray. “Oh great spirits above, please hear my voice. Send me someone who’s capable of saving my brother of your choice.” He chuckled.

Zeeto frowned as he glanced at Junn. The boy didn’t have long…

Suddenly, there was a loud clap in the room followed by a poof of smoke before Momo appeared. He was the Kasai clan’s god of course.

“Toshiro?” Momo blinked.

“Momorio…” Zeeto breathed.

“Zeeto… why am I here?” Momo asked.

“Junn is ill. We do not know what it is, but he is dying…”

Momo frowned as he went to Junn’s bed. “Junn?” He looked at him, trying to assess him.

“Momo, can’t you get Kusuri or Hiiraa?” Toshiro asked.

“I could try.” He nodded.

“What happens if the God’s can’t help him either?” Zeeto breathed. “We will be out of options…”

"Then we'll have to rely on faith in the strength of the Spirits and Junn." Momo told him before snapping his fingers to summon the two goddesses.

Hiiraa and Kusuri appeared.

Momo went over to them. "Junn's ill. I need your help." He breathed.

"Ill?" Hiiraa frowned.

Toshiro nodded. "He's hacking up blood...but Zeeto says his tests came back perfectly fine." He breathed.

"That's not good..." She frowned.

He nodded. "Please...do something. I can't lose him!" He shook his head.

Kusuri frowned but nodded. "Alright, sweetie...Let us try what we can." She breathed before going over to Junn.

Hiiraa followed as her eyes scanned Junn before shaking her head. "I.. do not understand... I see nothing wrong..."

Kusuri nodded. "I...can't see anything wrong." She agreed.

Toshiro frowned. "But he's ill! He NEEDS help!"

“We can see he's ill, but I don't see anything wrong with your brother." Hiiraa frowned.

"But...But you're gods...you have to know what to do. How to help!" Toshiro was getting frustrated and desperate. He had to save his brother.

"I will work for a cure, but for now, I'm afraid there's nothing we can do, Toshiro..." Hiiraa frowned.

"A-Am... I-I going... t-to die?" Junn whimpered.

Toshiro shook his head. "No. I won't let you die." He breathed. "I swear it."

He cried softly.

Toshiro leaned in and kissed his brother softly on the lips. Ever since they were young, that was how they conveyed their feelings for one another. When he needed to reassure Junn about anything, thank him for anything, or to remind him he wasn't alone, Toshiro would kiss him. It was just comforting and he didn't care if he caught the virus. His brother was everything to him.

Junn's eyes fluttered at the kiss. As his twin pulled away he frowned.

"Toshiro, I will contact all our best doctors across the land... and will be back if any answers arise." Zeeto breathed.

"Stay by your twin." Hiiraa breathed. "He will need you... we will do our best as well..." She said before disappearing.

Toshiro nodded as he sat down, taking Junn's hand again. He frowned as he kissed his brother's hand. He couldn't lose him. He just couldn't.

"T-Toshiro...?" Junn sniffled.

Toshiro looked at Junn. "Yeah?"

"I-Is... it selfish... t-to say I-I don't want K-Kohaku in here... w-worrying over me?" He teared up again. "I-I only w-want you here... s-seeing me l-like this..."

Toshiro frowned as he squeezed Junn's hand softly. "I understand...I wouldn't want Tatana to see me like this if I were you...I'll be here for you." He breathed.

“H-How will we k-keep him away?"

"How long will he be gone?"

"H-He and Yuudai were just going shopping..."

Toshiro frowned. "Hopefully...Tatana listened to me." He breathed. "If so, then only she and Riku would know what happened."

“M-Mother would have forced an explanation..." He frowned.

“Not if Tatana got her father alone."

Junn frowned. "T-Toshiro... I-I am so scared... I-I don't w-want my life to end..." He whimpered before he went into a hacking fit, blood splattering his hand.

Toshiro frowned as he dabbed Junn's mouth. He brushed his bangs back and nodded. "I know...I don't want you to leave me either..." He breathed.

"Wh-What.. will happen t-to you if I do? I-I'm... your anchor..." He cried.

Toshiro leaned in and pressed his forehead to Junn's. "I don't want to think about it..." He breathed. "You'll make it...I know you will..."

"I-I l-love you..." Junn sniffled.

"I love you too..." Toshiro breathed, leaning in to kiss him softly again.

Junn sniffled as he kissed back.
