"Yeah? Well mom and dad love me more." Kyo stated smugly.

"They do not!" Naoko pouted.

"How could they love some weak like yourself more than someone as strong as I am?" Kyo stated and crossed his arms. "Munchkin." He hissed and pushed Naoko's face away. "They wish you'd just run away."

Naoko gasped as tears sprung to her eyes. "K-Kyo you're so mean!" She cried and turned to run away.

"Shouldn't hit me then!" He hissed and rubbed his side as he growled. "Whiney-baby!!"

Naoko cried as she headed for the stairs but ended up slamming into Yuudai's legs and fell back to the floor.

Yuudai reached up to scratch the back of his head and looked down at Naoko with confusion. "Why are you crying?" He asked gently and knelt down.

Naoko sat up and wrapped her arms around Yuudai's neck. "U-Uncle Yuudai!" She cried. "K-Kyo's being m-mean! H-He says Mommy and Daddy love him m-more and that they want me to r-run away!" She sobbed.

Yuudai frowned. "Why would he say that?" He asked.

"I-I dunno..." She sniffled and clung to him. "I-Is it true?" She asked and whimpered. "D-Does Mommy and Daddy love him m-more?" She murmured. "D-Do they want me gone?"

"No." Yuudai whispered and shook his head. "They love both of you very much the same. If they lost you, they'd both be crushed, and it would be the same if they lost Kyo." He frowned more and hugged Naoko gently. "He's probably just upset about something. Maybe you did something unintentionally?"

"I-I hit him..." She murmured quietly and whipped her running nose on her sleeve.

"What has Hibiki taught you about hitting your brother?" Yuudai asked and pursed his lips.

Naoko's lip trembled. "You want me gone too!" She cried and jumped down before running upstairs.

Yuudai watched Naoko run and sighed before standing. "Kyo?" Yuudai called and went to find Kyo.

"What do you want?" Kyo asked when Yuudai entered his room.

"Why did you tell Naoko those things?" He asked.

"She hit me...hard." Kyo replied and gritted his teeth. "She's lucky I didn't hit back or she'd be crying harder."

"So you would rather damage her emotionally?" Yuudai stated as he sat down on the edge of his bed.

Kyo remained silent.

"Kyo, I'm going to share you one piece of wisdom about woman." Yuudai stated.

Kyo groaned. "Not more of the "words of wisdom"." Kyo mumbled and rolled his eyes.

"Hey, now!" Yuudai mumbled and frowned. "If there is one thing you should know about woman is that they are the most emotional of the two. Take out emotions, cut it in half and give that half to woman. With their own emotions and our half -- they're emotion wrecks a lot of the time. They are hurt more through their emotions and mentally then physically. Alright?" Yuudai explained.

"So Naoko actually believes mom and dad hate her?" Kyo stated plainly.

Yuudai nodded. "Exactly."

Kyo sighed. "She'll get over it."

Yuudai's expression fell blank. If he didn't fix this, Hibiki would resist more of Yuudai's "babysitting".

"Kyo, do you love your sister?" Yuudai asked.

Kyo shrugged. "No." He mumbled.

Yuudai rolled his eyes. "I know you love your sister. If your sister was ever caught by an enemy and they slowly began to kill her, putting her through the worst possible nightmare--"

"I'd kill them." Kyo hissed.

"See?" Yuudai said. "You love her."

"I have to!" Kyo gasped. "She's my sister."

Yuudai shook his head. "You don't have to, Kyo. You choose to be you do indeed love her genuinely. I see that when you look out for her at the Academy and in the village. You enjoy hanging out with her and are not afraid to bring her to outings with your friends."

"Fine." Kyo pouted. "But she can be annoying at times!"

"But so can we all." Yuudai said and smiled slightly. "You need to go tell her the truth, that all three of her do love you."

"Do I have to?" Kyo groaned.

"Unless you want her to actually run away. You know how predictable she is."

Kyo rolled his eyes and reluctantly crawled out of bed. "Fine." He gasped and made his way up to her bedroom.

"Naoko?" He mumbled and pushed open her bedroom door.

Naoko was in the middle of packing a bag while she cried softly.

"Naoko..." Kyo sighed and moved over to start unpacking her bag.

Naoko pushed him back. "Go away!" She cried and started to put the items he took out back into the bag.

Kyo reached over her and pulled the items back out. "Stop it, Naoko. I didn't mean what I said." He whispered and frowned.

"Yes you did!" She sobbed and tried to pull the items from his hands.

Kyo pulled the items back and threw them into her closer and shut the door with his foot. "No, I didn't." He stated and grabbed her wrist to pull her in front of him. "Don't run away. Mom and dad would be hurt if you did." He said and frowned. "Kay?"

"But you'd be happy." She sobbed.

Kyo shook his head. "No I wouldn't." He whispered and frowned. "Who would I hang out with and have fun with like we do?

Naoko frowned. "Th-Then why did you say what you did?" She sniffled.

"Because I didn't like that you hit me...and that it actually hurt." He admitted and shrugged. "I'm sorry, okay?"

Naoko sniffled and gave a small nod. "O-Okay..."

"Are you two alright?" Minako asked as she stood in the doorway with Hibiki and Yuudai. After returning home Yuudai explained what was going on before Minako rushed upstairs to check on the kids.

Kyo nodded slowly. "Yeah." He whispered and pulled Naoko into his side.

Naoko sniffled as she looked at her parents. Even though Kyo said he didn't mean it, she now wondered if her parents loved her, and it made her tear up and whimper again.

"Naoko..." Minako frowned and moved to kneel in front of her. "Don't cry, sweetie."

Naoko let out a sob and wrapped her arms around Minako's neck.

Hibiki glanced at Kyo and frowned. "Why are you crying, Naoko?" He asked and turned his eyes to his young daughter.

"D-Do you guys r-really love me?" She whimpered.

Minako frowned as she lifted Naoko into her arms. "Of course we love you sweetie."

Hibiki shook his head and moved closer to caress Naoko small cheek that was wet with tears. "Why would think otherwise, Naoko?" He whispered and frowned. "Of course your mother and I love you dearly." He said and leaned down to kiss the top of her head.

Naoko sniffled and glanced at Kyo before burying her face in Minako's shoulder.

"What happened, Kyo?" Minako asked.

"A little argument." Kyo replied and scratched the back of his neck. "I'm sorry, I told her things I shouldn't of."

"Well whatever it was she's still upset..." Minako murmured and rubbed Naoko's back as she whimpered.

Minako sighed as she rubbed Naoko's back. "Why don't you help me start dinner?"

Naoko nodded and sniffled. Minako smiled at Hibiki before heading downstairs.

Hibiki sighed and moved into the room to pick Kyo up and hang him over his shoulder.

"Dad!" Kyo gasped and struggled to break free from Hibiki's hold and jump down.

"Stop." Hibiki stated and slapped Kyo's butt. "You were bad. You'll stay in your room until dinner is ready."

When they reached the bottom of the stairs, Hibiki placed Kyo on his feet and pushed him towards his room. "We'll call you when it's ready."

Kyo frowned and moved to his bedroom, shutting his door and going to his bed.

"Thanks, Yuudai." Hibiki said and nodded.

Yuudai nodded. "I'll see you later."

"See you." Hibiki replied and moved to the kitchen. "Naoko?"

Naoko was sitting on the kitchen chair watching Minako prepare dinner. She whiped at her eyes and nose before looking at Hibiki. "Y-Yeah, Daddy?" She murmured.

Hibiki moved over in front of Naoko and kneeled down on his knee, taking her small hand in his and kissed the back of it. "You know daddy loves you a lot, right?" He asked and looked at her sincerely.

Naoko nodded slowly. "I-I think so..." She squeaked.

Hibiki shook his head and scooped Naoko up into his arm to spin her around and rest her knee's on his chest. "That wasn't the answer I wanted." He stated and looked up at her with a frowned. "Because Daddy loves you more than you know and I don't like seeing you cry like this." He said. "Especially when it's something like questioning mine and mom's love for you."

"W-Well... K-Kyo said you l-loved him m-more... a-and that I w-was weak and pathetic..." She sniffled. "A-And that you wanted me to run away..."

"We'd never, Naoko." Minako frowned.

Hibiki shook his head. "If you ever run away, I would be very upset, Naoko. Both Minako and I would be very upset. We love both you and Naoko the same because you're both our children and we wouldn't want anyone to replace either of you. And you're not pathetic or weak." He said and frowned. "Never."

"A-Are you s-sure Daddy?" She sniffled.

"I've never been more sure of anything." He whispered and slipped her knees of his chest to bring her closer and kiss her forehead. He held her on his hips and moved over to Minako, taking her hand in his and kissed the back of it before pulling Minako into his side. "Right, Minako?"

Minako nodded and caressed Naoko's cheek. "That's right." She said and smiles gently.

Naoko nodded. "Th-Thank you, Mommy, Daddy..."

Hibiki smiled gently and kissed Naoko cheek. "You don't need to thank us for loving you." He whispered and bent down to place Naoko on her feet. "Just so long as you realize that we do indeed love you."

Naoko nodded. "O-Okay." She said before running off to her room.
