When Ace got back to the house, he reappeared in the living room. He needed to find Ryo and Arai before the baby was born. He didn't know how much longer they had.

Arai was found on the couch, talking to his sister, Anita.

"Arai..." Ace moved to him. "I...have to tell you something...Where's Ryo?"

“Ryo's sleeping."

Ace frowned. "He needs to wake up..."

"What for?

“It's about Kawa and Feli..." Ace breathed.

His eyes narrowed. "Tell me now."

"Feli is about to have a baby."

His eyes widened. "That little--!"

Anita put her hand on his arm. "Arai...calm down..." She frowned.

Ace sighed. "I know...but because of Feli's clan, she's having the baby now."

"Now?! Are you--!" He clenched his jaw. "No. We're leaving Ryo to sleep."

Ace nodded. "Alright..."

"Arai, do you want me to come with you?" Anita asked, not wanting to leave him by himself.

He looked at her. "Please."

Anita nodded. "Of course..." She said as she got to her feet.

As Ace moved to open the door of the house, Shiku laid there, bloody and out cold with a note scrunched in his hand.

"Shiku!" Ace knelt down beside his son.

As Ace pulled out the note and read it, it said: "Your son makes Experiment seventy-six of this era."

Ace's eyes widened as he read the note. He scooped him up in his arms and looked at Arai. "Let's get going."

"Alright." He breathed as they ran.

Ace nodded as they ran. He didn't know what happened, but it wasn't good. He had a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach.

"What is this doctor?" Arai growled.

"I don't really know myself...but he's the one who made Hideki into a werewolf...and made Kawa into a demon..." Ace breathed.

Arai clenched his jaw. "The note... said this era... is he... is he immortal?"

Ace took in a deep breath. "That's what I'm thinking..."

"Great..." Arai growled.

Ace sighed as they rushed into the hospital. They were able to admit Shiku in seconds.

"I'll be waiting for Feli..." Arai said as he and his sister left.

"Hello, Ace." Zeeto said as he entered the room. "What happened to Shiku this time?"

"He's been attacked..." He breathed. "I want him to be checked out for everything and anything unusual."

"Attacked by what?" Zeeto asked as he began to examine him.

"A doctor..." Ace frowned.

Zeeto's brow furrowed. "Doctors... are not dangerous."

“This doctor is..." He breathed. "He made Hideki into a werewolf."

"Oh no... he... isn't that doctor of legend, is he?"

Ace blinked. "Doctor of legend?"

"Yes... there's... a myth. They say Orochimaru had a son..."

"A son? I've never heard of him..." Ace breathed. "He would've been my age...or around it at least..."

Zeeto nodded. "Like I said, it's a myth but... if it's true, they say he's even more twisted than his father."

Ace shook his head. "Can you...make sure Shiku is okay? He said that Shiku was now experiment seventy-six..."

“Right, sorry." He breathed, going back to examine Shiku. "All I can see is a small needle prick here in his arm."

"Then test him...see if there's anything different..."

Zeeto nodded. "I'll do this as fast as I can."

Ace nodded. "Thank you...I need to know how he is..."

Zeeto nodded. "Wait in the waiting room. I'll perform all the tests we have." He said, wheeling Shiku away.

Ace nodded as he went to the waiting room. When he got there, he saw Arai and Anita as well. "They're not out yet, huh?"

"Not yet." Arai sighed.

Ace nodded as he took a seat.

Anita frowned. "How is Shiku?"

"Zeeto's doing tests right now..." He frowned.

"It's always something... can't we ever have peace?"

Ace sighed. "I know...I feel the same...That's why I want to move the clan to a more remote area..."

"I hope we are safe if you do..."

Ace nodded. "That's what I hope for..."

Anita frowned. She wrapped her arms around Arai's and leaned her head on his shoulder. "I just want what's best for our family..."

"As do I..." He breathed.

Anita sighed. "I really think Ryo should be here..."

"I don't. He won't be happy."

Anita looked at her brother. "Are you two alright?"

"Yes, but he hasn't been good lately."

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Just... freaking out over everything."

"Well...this is a very difficult time for him...He's always been more of a mother so I can relate. He's coming to terms that his daughter is growing up." Anita told him. "Every parent goes through it..."

"But he's such a pain in the ass."

Anita cocked an eyebrow. "And you've never been?"

"I'm not saying that."

"He just needs to accept what's going on around him." She said.

"But he isn't."

"He will..." Anita nodded.

He sighed.

Just then, Kawa came out. He had changed into scrubs. He looked at Arai and took a deep breath. "It's a girl..." He breathed.

"A girl." He breathed. "Listen, you better love her and not take off." He growled.

Kawa shook his head. "I would never leave her...I love her."

"You better. Is Feli okay?"

"She's awake with the baby..." Kawa breathed. "She's fine..."

"Can I see her?"

"Yeah...this way..." Kawa nodded as he led Arai and Anita to Feli's room.

Arai smiled at seeing Feli awake. She was holding the baby close cooing.

Kawa moved to Feli's side and smiled.

Anita smiled softly. "She's beautiful...."

"She's precious..." Feli breathed.

"Have you given her a name yet?" Anita asked.

"Ame." She smiled. "Little Ame."

"Beautiful..." Anita smiled.

Kawa nodded. "I think so too..."

"She took after Kawa more though..." Feli giggled.

Kawa chuckled. "I don't know...she looks like you too." He smiled.

She smiled. "I'm happy."

"She's beautiful..." He looked at her.

"I love her."

"As do I..." He nodded.

She smiled. "Want to hold her?"

Kawa blinked. "You think...I can?"

"Of course." She smiled, gently passing her.

Kawa gently took his daughter into his arms and held her against his chest. "She's beautiful..."

Her green eyes fluttered open as she cooed.

"Hey..." Kawa breathed. "I'm your daddy..."

She giggled slightly, reaching for his face. Her hair was small, but it seemed to have a uniqueness of both Feli and Kawa's hair colours.

Kawa smiled. He never knew at how innocently happy someone could be. "Ame...like the rain..."

Feli smiled. "You look natural."

Kawa looked at her. "I do?"

She smiled and nodded. "Yes."

He blushed a bit. "This is my first time..."

"She loves you."

Kawa blushed. "Why?"

"Because you're her daddy and she know it."

"Smart kid...She must get that from you." He breathed.
She smiled. "Think you can raise her with me?"

Kawa nodded. "I'll do my best..."

She smiled. "Good. So... are you okay?"

Kawa nodded. "Yeah...I should be asking you that..." He frowned.

"Well... I meant with that doctor..."

Kawa nodded. "That's what I meant too..."

"I feel fine."

"Are you sure? You don't feel different?" He asked.

"Not really."

"Good..." He breathed a sigh of relief. "I would hate for anything to happen to you..."

"What happened after I passed out?"

"He and I talked..." Kawa told her.

"About what?"

"About what happened...About what he did to you...About what was going to happen..."

She frowned.

Kawa sighed. "He didn't tell me anything..."

"Oh no... I'm scared... did he do something to Ame?"

Kawa frowned. "I don't know...I thought he took her away..."

She frowned. "Ame..."

Kawa looked down at their daughter and took in a deep breath. "Please...be like your mom..."

Ame cooed as she reached for him.

Kawa smiled softly. "Hey..."

Anita moved to Feli's bed and sat down. "So...how do you feel?" She smiled. "Think you're a mom?"

"I... it doesn't feel real."

Anita nodded. "I know...I felt the same way when Kakashi was born." She breathed.

"Did you?"

Anita nodded. "Well...it was a bit different...I felt overwhelmed and alone..." She looked to Kawa. "You're lucky to have him..."

"I know I am..."

Anita smiled. "Well, our newest addition is just precious...She surely will be loved by everyone."

"I do hope so."

Anita looked to Kawa. "Can I hold my niece?" She smiled as she held out her hands.

Kawa nodded as he handed his daughter over to Anita.

Ame giggled as she moved her hands to Anita's face.

Anita smiled and cooed softly at the baby. She loved being a mother. She missed it even. "Who's a pretty baby? You are~ Yes you are~"

"Ah~ ah~"

Anita smiled softly as she cooed with the baby.

"Am I too late?!" Sachiko came running into the room. "I saw Feli holding a baby..."

Feli looked over. "Sachiko..." she breathed looking up from her daughter in Anita's arms.

Sachiko was panting since she ran from the compound. "Feli..."

The two sisters hadn't spoke for a while. There was an awkward silence in the room.

Kawa looked between the girls and sighed. "Why are you even fighting? Sachiko was right about me being a monster..."

Feli frowned.

Kawa sighed. "Please...you two are sisters...I want you guys to be like that again..." He frowned, looking at the girls.

Feli turned her face away. "Do... you want to hold her, Sachiko...?"

Sachiko bit her lip. "I can?"

"Yes..."

Sachiko moved to Anita who showed her how to craddle the baby carefully. Sachiko took the girl and looked down at her. "Hey baby..." She breathed.

Ame giggled. She seemed pleased being passed from one person to the other.

Sachiko smiled softly at her niece. She was really beautiful. "Wow..."

"As good as in your vision?" Feli mumbled.

As Ame was cooing up at Sachiko, pink markings began to appear on her skin like the ones Feli had

Sachiko blinked. "Wow..." She breathed again. "That's...incredible..."

"What is?" Feli breathed, glancing over at her.

Sachiko looked at her. "Ame...has pink markings...just like you. I've never seen something like that..." She breathed. Sachiko had always been used to Feli's markings, but she never knew how she'd gotten them.

Feli sighed. "Where's Tsuyoshi?"

“Out...I...Feli, while you were gone...I did research on myself." She breathed. "I think I'm psychic...like...I can see the future..."

"Clearly. So I guess I'm still going to die." She growled.

Sachiko frowned. "The future isn't definite..." She breathed.

Feli sighed.

Arai clapped a hand on Sachiko's shoulder. "Just put this behind you... okay?"

Sachiko looked at him and frowned. "But...I did nothing wrong...I had a vision and I freaked out, Dad...What was I supposed to do? How was I supposed to know I could have visions? I never had one before then..."

"Sachiko... I'm not pointing fingers. I am saying you two just need to make up."

"I'm trying to..." Sachiko frowned, looking down. "It's her that's making it difficult..." She mumbled.

"Me?!" Feli growled.

"You just had a baby, relax, Feli." Oki breathed.

Kawa nodded as he took her hand. "Feli...just calm down, okay?"

Sachiko handed Ame to Arai. "I'm sorry...I can't do this..." She said before running out.

"Sachiko..." Arai frowned, holding his granddaughter close.

"Damn her." Feli winced, unhooking her wires and bolting out before anyone could stop her or grab her.

Sachiko had ran out into the waiting room. She had curled up on one of the seats as her hair seemed to wrap around her body. She missed having her best friend.

"Sachiko... you're such an idiot..." Feli breathed before wrapping her arms around her sister.

Sachiko looked up at her. "I'm sorry..."

"Just... stop..." She breathed, tears brimming in her eyes.

"I want us to be close again..." A tear trickled down Sachiko's cheek.

"Me too..." She sniffled.

Sachiko wiped her eyes. "You're a mother, huh?" She smiled a bit.

Feli pulled back and nodded. "Seems so..."

"Are you...scared?" She asked.

"No. I'm not scared. But I am scared for when Daddy finds out."

Sachiko frowned. "You know...I think once he sees your baby...he'll forget all about being upset." She breathed.

"Maybe... but... he hasn't been the usual loving father ever since... Jyma came around..."

“You know Daddy's always been sensitive with us." Sachiko breathed. "He's always been afraid of our real parents coming back to claim us...You're lucky your mother is still alive." She frowned.

"You don't know that yours isn't, Sachiko."

Sachiko frowned. "No...I can feel it..." She touched her chest.

Feli frowned. "I'm... sorry."

Sachiko sighed and shook her head. "It's okay...It's not your fault..."

"I know but..." She sighed, touching her stomach where she could feel the stitches.

Sachiko shook her head and smiled. "Don't worry about it...You have a whole new responsibility to worry about."

Feli smiled weakly. "Had sex yet?"

Sachiko blushed and pouted. "No..."

"Why not~?"

"Because Tsuyoshi wants to wait." She puffed her cheeks out, crossing her arms over her chest. "I thought he was a bad boy..." She mumbled.

"At least you know he's not cheating on you..."

Sachiko got to her feet. "What if he is? Maybe that's why he doesn't want sex...He's already getting it from some other whore!" Sachiko tended to have an overactive imagination.

Feli blinked. "You're kidding, right?"

"It would make sense...! He's constantly "running errands" and going out somewhere..." She frowned. "He is a bad boy after all..."

Feli face palmed. "You're insane..."

Sachiko pouted. "What makes you say that?"

"Tsuyoshi loves you. You guys have been "dating" since we were three."

She sighed and sat back down. "You're right...He promised I was his only one..." She breathed.

Feli nodded as she looked out the nearby window. Her face twisted in confusion. He could see Tsuyoshi talking to a very pretty woman who was clearly flirting and him in return. He... couldn't really be cheating, could he? Her eyes drifted to Sachiko. It wouldn't be good if she saw him now...

Sachiko looked to Feli and blinked. "Feli?"

Feli looked back at her and smiled sheepishly. "Let's head back. I kinda ran out."

Sachiko nodded, smiling softly. "Alright...I don't want Daddy hogging Ame all to himself~" She giggled.

Feli giggled. "So come on." She stood up, grabbing Sachiko's arm.

Sachiko nodded as they returned to Feli's room.

Kawa looked to them before smiling. "Everything alright?"

Feli nodded. "I want to see my baby~" She smiled as Arai passed Ame back.

Kawa helped Feli back into bed and smiled. "She smiles most when you're here..."

Feli blushed. "N-No she doesn't..."

Kawa nodded. "Yes she does..." He smiled. "She loves you..."

"I'm glad but... I don't think she's happiest in my arms... she loves everyone.”

Anita shook her head. "A child is happiest in their mother's arms..." She smiled, looking at her niece. "You're a natural..."

Feli blushed. "But... I am young..."

Anita shook her head. "It doesn't matter...Someone who is meant to be a mother doesn't require an age."

"But... Kawa and I are young... will the family help if we need it?"

"Of course...The family has never turned on one of its own." Anita breathed. "You are still our family. You're a part of our clan, Feli."

Feli smiled. "Thank you, Aunt Anita."

Anita kissed her head. "You're welcome, Feli..."
